I bought it with 2k miles in 2015 and have kept in garage stored the entire time. It was our 3rd car when I bought it with the intention of it taking over daily driving duties when my then current daily failed. Ultimately, as the car got older and remained in great shape, I was reluctant to turn it into my daily as it's the last of it's kind in the US from BMW and and instead picked up a 135is. When my wife got a Pilot, the need for the wagon disappeared.

I've changed the oil yearly, power steering and brake fluid every other year, and had the transmission, tx case, and differential fluids changed at an Indy last year. Air filter and cabin filter have been charged as well. The tires were replaced in 2017 with Pilot Sport AS3 and have about 8k miles on them. Also have a set of winter wheels and tires bought in 2015 with a few thousand miles on them.

There are 1 or 2 paint chips that are very minor. Unavoidable really for any car that sees the road. But otherwise, I would be surprised if this isn't the best condition E61 out there.

My only reason for selling is that I simply don't drive it enough and if I'm going to have a third car that is babied, I'd rather have an M2C before the production run ends and get a crap car for daily use.
