This car would be for a collector that would keep it low mileage and showroom new. I loved the E39 M5. Best car I've ever owned. Period. But I wouldn't/couldn't spend $42k just to have one in the garage.

I might be interested. However, KBB puts this at $25K at best, with this mileage, in new condition. Why is the seller asking almost $20K more for this? Is he/she assuming this as a collector's piece, hence the reason for such a high price? It's too bad 4 door sedans, regardless of model, are never considered collector's pieces. If they were, the E39 M5 would surely be one.
