FS 2010 BMW 535i E61 with 130-131K miles
Details on my 2010 E61 with almost 130,000 miles (by the time anyone buys it I might be closer to 131k). I purchased the car at 78k miles in July 2014, VIN C238001. I have kept a spreadsheet with all preventive and corrective maintenance performed to the car during my ownership, it is available upon request. I have spent $7,800 USD including tires. I am asking $9,000 for the car, which I believe it to be a very fair price considering the high mileage but also considering how mechanically solid the car is.
I have the itch of a new/newer car. Considering a Volvo V90 wagon, 328D wagon or an Audi Allroad wagon. The 328D is the smallest of all but I love the idea of the "torquie" engine (which won’t compare to the 535’s, I know…but I don’t speed as I once did anymore). Production date: 2010-03-16 Space gray metallic Black Dakota leather It has the standard equipment of every 2010 with the following highlights: S441A Smoker package…I’ve never smoked S464A Ski bag…used once, I use a Yakima box since 4 years ago S488A Lumbar support passenger and driver S494A Heated front seats S496A Heated rear seats S248A Heated steering wheel S402A Panoramic roof, as every E61 S609A Navigation system S676A HiFi speaker system, with amplified OEM subwoofers, it improves sound quality greatly. I have a beautiful PPI amplifier (stays with sale) driving the subs S502A Headlight cleaning system S508A PDC S522A Xenon light S524A Adaptive headlights Upgraded air intake system with BMS dual air cone, I still have and will include OEM airbox with filter Upgraded AFE Throttle body spacer Upgraded front black M style grill, I still have the original chrome which is in so so conditions and will include it Mushimoto oil catch can, installed long time ago…but didn’t record the date or cost. Upgraded vacuum silicone lines MHD Stage 1, I can leave it or remove it as requested. Minor coding with Carly (I’m keeping the hardware), most notable delete of annoying Navigation warning and turning on DVD in motion, digital speedometer, open rear hatch with remote. Bimmian AutoCarbon Carbon fiber cluster trim covers Bimmian AutoCarbon Carbon fiber dead pedal, brake and gas pedals Upgraded all interior lights to white LED lights 40% life in front tires (due to bad camber, fixed in August 2018) BF Goodrich G-Force all-season 65-70% life in rear tires…BF Goodrich G-Force all-season ISC front coilovers, new shafts, sleeves and springs (August 2018). Rear has ISC shocks (never removed the air ride), by now 25k miles New set of Brembo pads and sensors on (not so new) ECS Tuning cross-drilled rotors (all 4 wheels) Carbon fiber wrapped steering wheel black plastic around the controls and around the shifter base (partially) Upgraded DTRL and fog lights to LEDs, no-errors and no coding needed Upgraded side rear view mirrors to European style with line-less concave for improved dead spot visibility, they are fully operational (heating and dimming) I normally have the BMW rubber mats, but it will also come with almost-new BMW cloth mats Driver side tie rod needs to be replaced as you will hear a knocking over some bumps, this is the one that also steers the car, I have the part but never got to it, (I did replace the passenger side though) part will be included with sale. Overall a very clean car, I do have a number of scratches in the rear bumper and a couple in the front bumper. Last time I replaced spark plugs was at 118k miles. Water pump and thermostat were replaced at 115k miles. Car is mechanically very strong and very reliable, just in October I took a 5 day trip to Houston, round trip was 2,500 miles, average efficiency 22.1 MPG @ 65.6 mph average per trip computer. You can take this car on road trips in a minute’s notice. Dealer replaced 90% of wheel well electronics and relocated them to the side (March 2017). I am posting older pictures of car because it has been ugly in Chicago so haven't been able to wash it. I'll send other pictures on request. I had never run a Carfax on this car, it seems like I am the second owner...may be the third. For the first 18K miles it wasn't registered to anybody (making me the second registered owner)...if it was, it wasn't recorded (making me the third owner). Here's a short preview of the CarFax, full report available upon request.
Edit: I also noticed Perillo BMW never recorded any of the services they have performed on the car. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/5series...f250412559.jpg |
Car has officially just shy of 131,500 miles. I posted a listing in Craigslist, lots of pictures there.

Car has 130,567 miles right now. I've been thinking of advertising it in Autotrader or one of those places, before I do so, I rather sell it at a compromised price here than to someone outside the BMW community, I'm lowering to $8,000.
