All, I regret to say that I'm selling my '08 BMW 550i Sport Sedan. We now have 3 kids and I've decided to replace the car with a truck. I love this car but unfortunately I can't afford to keep both vehicles. I'll try and edit the details as folks ask questions but please see the preliminary details below. My preference would be for a local/CA sale but I may deviate depending on the situation. I'm the second owner of the car and it has always been a babied California car. It's always garaged and very well taken cared of. The rear seat and passenger have very rarely been sat in and basically are brand-new. DINAN High Flow Intake - $1,099 - Dinan's high flow intake system for the 550 dramatically increases intake air-flow volume and velocity as well as ensuring the lowest possible intake air temperatures for maximum power gains, as well as improved throttle response. The system takes full advantage of the ram-air effect by adding a second air inlet in conjunction with the stock configuration, force feeding more cool, oxygen rich air to the enhanced air box. The system includes a complete replacement air box and lid, designed to increase overall volume and accommodate the additional air inlet. A special high flow filter element is included, reducing the restriction presented by the stock filter. The air box and lid are molded from a composite material that has been chosen specifically for its ability to resist power robbing under-hood heat and the design provides for a completely sealed air box, maximizing pressurization for optimum performance. Air from the secondary inlet passes through custom molded ducting, including a visible section manufactured from carbon fiber, also designed to reject underhood heat and provide maximum flow. ??The high flow intake system alone produces a substantial 18 horsepower gain. The intake note takes on a subtly more aggressive tone at wide open throttle that will be music to the driving enthusiasts' ears.

DINAN Stage III software - $699 - Stage 3 Performance Engine Software has been designed specifically for use with Dinan's High Flow Throttle Body, optimizing performance and drivability. The programming includes a 200 rpm increase of the rev-limit for manual and SMG cars and a 100 rpm increase for automatics. The top speed governor is also removed.

DINAN Throttle Body - $899 - Many people seem to be under the false impression that the new Valvetronic engines don't have a throttle body. This is clearly not the case however the throttle body for these applications functions as part of the traction control system, as well as a ''safety valve'' of sorts. Regardless of the function, the size of the hole still represents a restriction of intake air-flow, making the larger bore of the Dinan high flow versions enable the engine to breathe better for more horsepower and torque, most effectively in wide-open throttle scenarios
