My Ride: 535i 6-speed
Model Year: 2008
LCI version, 6-speed manual, jet black exterior, black Dakota leather interior, dark burl walnut trim, premium package, sports package, navigation, heated seats, CD, iPod option with USB port, spare tire, original owner, excellent condition.
This car has 34K strictly highway miles. I bought this car new in 12/07 and it has been driven Mon-Fri for a 100 mile per day commute, then garaged all weekend. If you do the math?100 miles/day @ 20 day/month?you account for all the miles from 12/07 to now.
The car is still under the Full Factory Warranty, which includes ALL maintenance, until 12/10 or 50,000 miles. In additon to the normal scheduled maintenance, this car had the oil changed at 7500 miles and 22,500 miles, at my expense. BMW says every 15,000 miles is fine for oil changes, but I just feel better having it done every 7500 miles.
I am a car nut and this car is in excellent condition?no food, drinks, smoke, or kids. It is used Mon - Fri for work commute only, then hand washed and garaged all weekend. My wife has an ?08 Suburban and we take it everywhere because she and my son refused to walk from where I insisted on parking the 535i?WAY out from any other cars?thus, no dings on this car.
Why am I selling this car? Believe me when I say?I really hate to do this?but, my company has been reimbursing me for mileage for the past 5 years. But with a new company policy, they are now providing me a company car with fleet card instead. I already have a ?97 911 in the garage for a pleasure car, and simply can?t justify keeping this 535i also. There is no lien on this car and I have the clean title in the glove box. I also have all the service receipts, window sticker, and anything else that came new with the car.
Here are a few pictures that I took with the 911, but I haven't yet taken any for selling purposes...interior, etc. I hope I can edit this later and add those... You simply won?t find a 535i this clean, unless you buy a new one.
$38,500

If you purchased the vehicle new in 12/07, shouldn't the warranty run until 12/11 or 50k?
