Default 2007 E61 530xi Looking For Good Home

It's time to finally say goodbye to my well loved E61. I've decided to go full EV and am fortunate enough to get a stinking good lease deal on a iX. This wagon has been my baby for about 10yrs and I have done every single job imaginable on it. Some history below and it was just in with Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah for another $8K of work (front seal, oil pan gasket and rear brakes and rotors). Full disclosure (and it's why I didn't detail it for the photos) the body work needs some cleaning up but otherwise this is a super well looked after example. Just putting the feelers out for now as my main goal is to find it a good home with someone who will enjoy and maintain it. Only mods are the wheels, front black grill, and cold air intake. Interior is in great shape.

Beautiful ride. Is it 6 speed or auto? Sport seats, comfort seats or multi contour? VIN would also be greatly appreciated, very interested. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment and ask.

It’s auto but I’ve recently done the mechatronics unit including new solenoids so it shifts like new. You can still get a pretty awesome driving experience if you shift it yourself considering it’s a 2007.

Seats are the fancy heated multi function, memory bolsters still work great. Only issue with the seats is the lower leg extension that always give up on these.

It’s also got the auto raise/lower steering wheel which I recently repaired - nothing like that feeling of the wheel coming down to meet you while the seats tuck in around you

Awesome. Love the black over black specced ones and the shadowline is the cherry on top! Any water issues with the sunroof drains clogging or issues with the pano roof in general? Also what are you looking to get for it? Thanks

Yeah, it’s a lovely spec. All I had to do was pick the right wheels (took me a year) and people think it’s a newish car

No water issues but I have being meaning to blow out the drains. Roof is in great shape.

No clue what it’s worth. Most important thing for me is someone who’ll appreciate it, the work put into it, can see past the dents and scrapes and will continue to enjoy it.

Gotcha. I appreciate you answering all of my questions so diligently. Those wheels do modernize the look of the car significantly. I previously owned an E91 6 speed for 5 years, and not a day goes by that I don't miss it dearly. I would absolutely be up to the task of maintaining it and continuing your pursuit of making it pristine. The only reason I bring up the panoramic roof is I recall the casette in my old car giving me issues (particularly when it rained) and wanted to get the lowdown on the condition of yours. But if it is functioning properly, and able to articulate all positions I will definitely be sending an offer your way. Let me discuss the purchase with my wife and I will be reaching out to you in private promptly!
