Friends:

I have a gorgeous 2007 BMW 550i - sport package, cold weather package, logic7, satellite radio, ipod integration, park distance control. Its a 6 speed manual - obviously very fast.

I have an offer pending on a Mercedes and am looking to assign the lease to someone. I will be listing it on swap-a-lease shortly if I do not find anyone to take it over but would prefer not to pay to list it, etc., if I can find someone interested.

There are 8 months left on the 36 month lease - expires Feb. 14, 2010. The car currently has 33k miles. There are 3k miles left on the lease, but I will purchase 7k more miles to give you 10k miles for the remaining 8 mos, or the cash equivalent.

I put $5k down on the lease when it commenced to lower the payments within my monthly allowance from work, so the monthly payment is very low - $706 month. Residual at the end is $39k. MSRP was $65k.

If you are interested in the assuming the lease and getting to drive this fantastic car for the next 8 months, let me know and we can chat.

Its alpine white with a tan interior - in fantastic shape.

Located in Louisville, KY.

- Pete

Yeah, I know. I just figured someone else might be between cars, or needing something in the short term while waiting on the F10. LOL....

Wow. $700 per month plus 10K miles for 8 months for a 550 is a fantastic deal.

Someone needs to jump on this ASAP. This is a 550 for 535 money. What a terrific opportunity for someone who has always longed for a 550 but could not afford one.

GL with lease transfer.

So what MB did you get to replace this AW beauty?

It was an '08 e63. Still "new" at the dealer with less than 100 miles on it. We were close to price, they said they thought they could get to my number, then backed off. Thus, the deal is off for now. I have a feeling they might call back after a week or so, but who knows.

Bastards - i was pretty excited.

But, I guess now I will finish the lease and grab either a CPO M5 or new 550i before the F10's arrive.

If you like power, E63 is a great choice. The E63 that attended our April 25th Bear Mountain meet was fast.

Yeah, but I worry I would miss the legendary BMW handling.

That's true. At our April 25th Bear Mountain Meet, the E63 could not keep pace with Joe's (king1828) when the roads got twisty. But in a drag race, a stock E63 is faster than a stock M5. That won't be the case when the F10 M5 debuts.
