I was watching T.V. today and what do I see? A Hyundai Genisis commercial, that compares a Rolls Royce to a Genisis.
They say the Genisis has 17 speakers like the Rolls Royce. What kind of an excuse is that to buy a Genisis? What is wrong with these people? How on Earth can they compare even a 7 series to a Genisis, let alone a Royce?

Lets hope it will be a good car, it only helps the competition .. BMW should offer something better..

Anyway, the comparison is too much, imagine if it sat on a cloud next to God in the sky somewhere ....

$40K is not CHEAP. But then again, it really depends on your definition of cheap.

Don't knock it 'til you try it. Hyundai has done/changed a lot since 80's. I'm not a fan yet but the new Genesis seems to be a real competitor if things hold up as they claim.

Even if it does drive nicely (prob not better than BMW), it is still a knock off of the Mercedes E and S class, and the BMW E60. I really don't appreciate companies that plagiarize other companies, just like Lexus. At the end of the day, it's still a Hyundai.

Well, I gotta say I like the car, it looks nice, but not better than an E or a 5er. I think Edmunds is a pretty trusted site, but I don't agree with the verdict at the end of the GS-Genesis comparison.

When you buy a PREMIUM luxury sedan, you're not going to expect it to be cheap. If you're going for performance, the GS is clearly better as they post the stats in the video, but for some reason the Genesis still wins. Cheap plastics knobs or Lexus' precision and status symbol. I think it's worth the extra 7 grand.
