Vauxhall's VXR8 with the introduction a supercharger kit, boosting the power of the six-litre V8 up to - ready for this? - 540bhp and some 526lb ft of torque.

That's up some 129bhp on the standard VXR8's 411bhp

There's no word on what the supercharger will do to the VXR8's performance figures, but bear in mind that without the supercharger it'll hit 60mph in just under five seconds. Low fours is a serious possibility.

The supercharger kit will set you back just under seven grand, bringing the total cost of the VXR8 to just over ?40,000 - a veritable bargain for 540 horses.

This car is ugly but fast.

some serious power, but, i dont know if i remember correctly but is this the car that has some major safety issues?

i mean, that car is a total value for money rocket, but theres three key areas were its going to have a hard time selling

1. Its a Vauxhall. Come on be honest, thats a de-sellingpoint there.

2. Now going on past vauxhall cars and people experiences, is this going to be as reliable as a Bmw, or atleast a Merc?

3. The car really looks But ugly, especially the back end of the car, ultra nasty look.

and well the rest you can judge for yourself,

M5 Is now loosing its ground

Heard Kikkis E63 wasted johns M5 3 weeks ago on the M2 Going towards Dover

Must be - I mean, the guy in the photos is wearing a crash helmet, I wonder if that comes standard from the factory or is a dealer accessory?
