kc5354, sorry to hear you don't like the e60 . i agree with posts above. acura tl, audi a4/s4, infiniti g35, lexus is300, cadillac cts, volvo s60 aren't bad but none of them can compare with bmw 3 and 5. test drive every single one of them and make your final decision. good luck .

I believe E90 3 serie is almost as big as E39 in interior and trunk space. The price will stay high for the first few months. You may want to check out E60 525i/530i with new R6 engine again next year side by side with the new E90. The out of door price will be similar, since you probably can't get any discount on 1st year E90.
I would also consider these cars.
Acura TSX
Infiniti G35 coupe
Infiniti M35 MY2006
If you want small muscle cars.
MB C55
E90 BMW M3 v8 engine (4 doors) - possible in a year?
Audi S4

Thanks again for all your inputs.
I look again at the 330i with Perfomance Pkg and its quite nice. I notice the Performace Pkg up the HP from 225 to 235. I also like the Exterior style and updated interior more.
BUT...... what is stopping me from getting it is because i know the new 3 series is coming out soon.
So, i am still confuse

You're mind is made up and you don't even know it...new 3 series, same package as you currently desire (330i with performance pack). More interior space, new body, no I-drive (if you don't need nav and probably a couple of other options linked to I-drive), and its still a BMW. They are coming in March I believe, start of production, so it won't be long.

m630, I was thinking of the performance package like the sports package, but if I'm wrong, then oh well, no E90. I am sure he will find something. Me, I'm still waiting to order my E60, but it looks like the wait has been a blessing since I won't be able to order until March and that is the time that I can get the R6 engine in my 525. For those that know my story, my transfer date is set for April 1, 2005. Should close on the new house sometime in March!
