Whenever I see one of these modded Panamera, like the Sportek, I think "that's the nicest Panamera I've seen", swiftly followed by "but I still don't like it". I just think they got it wrong with the rear design, because regardless what anyone does with the suspension, wheels and spoilers to give it a wider stance, it still looks "bloated" IMHO. Shame really, because other than that its got all the right ingredients.

Either way, it's flying out of the showrooms (it is currently the best selling car in the Porsche lineup) and in Turbo guise it's quicker than an M5/M6. Not bad for a car that's as big as a 7 Series.

There's no way anyone who hates this car has spent any real seat time in it. It's scary fast and I love the way it "feels" and I'm not a huge porsche guy generally. Obviously styling is subjective and it needs aftermarket wheels, but I think it's a great representation of what a four door Porsche should be.

My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
I think we can all agree this car is definitely different looks-wise. However, the beauty of it, for me at least - and those of you guys who like it, tell me if this is what you like about it too - is exactly in it's exterior. To me personally, it looks like a car with an absolutely amazing potential for modding. And I mean, amazing in a way that very few cars out there. I had the same "liking" for E60 before I saw the M-tech kit - like it has an amazing potential, but there are some key design attributes that could use improvement. Anyway... maybe its just me, but I love the way Panamera looks.
