That is just spectacular. 500bhp V8 supported by an additional 218bhp in the hybrid component, reportedly capable of a faster Nurburgring time than the Carrera GT, and, when driven mainly on the hybrid powertrain, potentially capable of 78 mpg.
What an absolutely fantastic car. Porsche, by the way, has yet to exhibit a concept that didn't make it to production.

My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
yeah, I've been secretly disseminating info about this thing via email for a few days now - been wondering when someone's gonna finally post it on here
I haven't thoroughly read all the info on it, but skimmed through a few online articles covering the reveal and the official release from Porsche. What I can't figure out is whether this will be a Carrera GT-level car or something to slot in between the Boxster and 911 conv. Specs are amazing and the design is outstanding - this is going to be the classic sports car shape for some years now - its been a long time coming with predecessors like Elise, Tesla and the Carrera GT itself - all leading to this shape. Now IMHO Porsche nailed the bull's eye with this design - they truly created a design on par with the original 911. Well done. Extremely well done
