From the list there I picked S550. But in real life I think I would rank in the following orders, including some choices I add in addition to your list:

1. BMW M5
2. Porsche 911 GT3
3. Lexus LS460L
4. Mercedes-Benz S550
5. BMW 550i

Good list, just delete the Lexus.

I bought the daily driver I wanted, the others are all fine autos but for me the 550 MSport is the best allround vehicle and it offers great value in, performance, luxury, appearance and prestige.
Cheers

Doesn't look like a pig to me, it looks gorgeous. Plus the M6 interior can't even compare to the beautiful CL interior.
Man, to each of it's own with the interior. The interior is not that important for me, and if the talk came down to this what do you find in particular much more nice at the cl than in the m6?!

And please look again, especially at the length. If the CL doesn't look like a pig, for sure it will "behave like one" Drifting CLs? I don't think so.

Pros for the CL over the M6 is DEFINITLY the interior. I mean thats where your spending all the time in the car dont you want it to be up to par The leather feels comfortable, the computer is very user friendly, the views all around you, I mean I dont know where to stop. The exterior with the AMG kit is unbelievable. Trust me, take a ride in one and you'll be a believer.

Pros for the M6 over CL is that the thing can drive somewhat like a 911 and still have some luxury too. Plus a V10 doesnt hurt anyone. But isnt that why your buying the M6 instead of the 72k 650?

I think theyre both solid its just what appeals more to you.

And about drifting a CL. Well... I dont drift nor do I go to tracks

No sh*t the CL is longer, its basically a two-door S-class. Its a big body Benz.

I look at buying a CL AMG like buying a Bentley GT. Its pure luxury with a lot of performance.

M6 is all performance, if I wanted performance, I would go for a smaller car. Like a Porsche GT3/GT, or the new V8 M3.

By the way, drifting is for teenagers. Not business professionals that buy the CL AMG.

Never really been a big fan of the current Maserati's, but the 2008 GranTurismo shows promise.
