08' 120i - M-Sport - Alpine White III / Black Sensatec
Ok, was 100% sure that the GT was the way to go. But when I saw it in person I realized that it wasn't practical enough, and also I wasn't convinced from the looks either. It had a small boot and a very large rear seat, which wasn't right for our needs.
And the waiting for the F11 (5-Touring) is too long, maybe will buy the F11 LCI one day though.
Here are the details:
E350 CDI BlueEfficiency Wagon 7G-Tronic
White/Black
Avantgarde Package
AMG-Package
Leather
Parktronic w. guidance
Memory package
Cupholders
Multicontour seats
Panorama sunroof
Command APS
USB/iPhone
Emergency wheel
Harman/Kardon L7
Tinted rear windows
Active light system
Auto tailgate

Its obviously a very good car, but why not go for another E61, e.g. in AW with 19s or something like that? Or even a different (i.e. larger!!) engine?
Even though it hurts me to say this about an MB, congrats on the order It will be interesting to see what you have to say about the drive compared to an E61...

Thanks! But I think if I'd considered another E61 I could have kept the one I have since it has almost all the goodies I want, and the only other engine that would interest me is the 535d, but the difference isn't big enough to justify a change. Also I believe that I'm getting decently paid for it now, but I'm afraid the story is another in a year from now when the F11 is out.
I will still hang out here and keep BMW in my heart, still have the 1-series!

My buddy in Germany also has an E-class wagon and that car is TIGHT!!!
MB and Audi make some nice looking wagons, you can't tell them apart from the sedan when you look at them from the front - for some reason I don't feel the same way about BMW.
Congrats on the purchase.
