Is it 420 Hp?

Isnt it 500 like the S8?

The new S8 with the same engine is 450bhp.

Given MB's massively powerful engines, I am guessing Audi will tune the V10 for 550bhp in the RS6 and RS8.

Do you really think the interior sucks? I have to tell you, of all the V8 powered sedans I checked out, I liked the Audi the best. Their MMI implementation is superior to IDrive IMHO and the entire dash just looks better. Just my opinion of course - but most automotive writers seem to agree no?

I think it looks okay! When will it be on the streets?

Sorry, I was mistaken. :'( I knew the S6 will be using the S8's motor which has about 450bhp. However, Cidair was right about the 420bhp. I guess they detuned it for the S6 - see link below for more info.

Given the hp and weight, I'm guessing the S6 should perform on par with the 550i.

IMO why to pay attention to this model if RS6 is on it's way. BTW do u guys see how audi wants to go closer to bmw (dropping the turbo engines and going for high revvy ones on top models, and the quattro settings giving more power to the back).
I bet this car is in the pricerange of the m5. So knowing the m5 is the better car, looks better imo, and performs way better why would i want that?
