via the audiusa.com configurator...it would appear that way...engine only difference....
I thought they did but that car they used for the showroom some time ago was actually shipped to some place overseas.. just brought here as a loaner to garner interest in the media...

Audi HAS come a long way ! I recently sold my 2007 2.0L FSI Turbo Quattro A-4 with just about every option that I had for 18 months. The car absolutely blew me away by it's performance, economy and overall capabilities not to mention quality. I could ride in ANY weather and not feel the least bit unsafe. It was a very confidence inspiring ride and I really liked the quattro AWD.
Why did I sell it you ask ? Becasue my brother had a similarly loaded 2007 530xi that was absolutely perfect and truly "almost new" (he was so anal how it took care of it) that he decided he wanted to sell it to get something smaller to commute to work in that was better on gas like a new Mini (???) (at least it's a BMW with a different name...).
Anyway I loved his 530xi and I always told him I'd upgrade from the A-4 and buy his car if he ever got tired of it. Of course the 530xi is also AWD but bigger, better, badder and most importantly a BMW. And so when the time came this summer I jumped on it and a deal was struck to buy it. I sold my A-4 (for a GREAT price given it had a powerful 4 cylinder engine with the current gas situation and all ) and as they say the rest is history. In July I became the proud owner of two BMW cars- his 2007 530xi to keep my beloved 2004 BMW 330cic company in my garage. Some people go their whole life without having ONE BMW but it's really nice to have TWO at the same time , both being completely different cars yet they are both BMW's sharing BMW's penchant for cutting edge technology and sporting performance.
Lastly, if you look at my signature you'll see that I actually have a THIRD BMW in my garage- a 2004 BMW R1200c Montauk motorcycle that BMW epitomizes as their vision of what a "cruiser" (Harley) type motorcycle should be like. It's a fantastic motorcycle with a combination of technology and features not found on most motorcycle brands in the world. It's what I call a "20 year keeper" (especially since BMW stop making cruisers like this in 2005 after only about 7~8 years of production). I plan on keeping it for a l-o-n-g time since it really is irreplacable...
How lucky am I ?

The new A4 is beautiful. I saw a R8 this past weekend at this little "hole in the wall" resturaunt I ate at Saturday night. It was awesome to see in person.

If I actually go and get an S5, I'll definitely get a 120 for the wife... or a TT ..

Anyone have any experience with DriveSelect?
EDIT: It's got to do with Audi's adjustable magnetic ride suspension but not sure if it can control up/down or just the firmness/comfort level of the car......?

Looks good.
I always get a kick out of it when people buy an entry level car (i.e. small sedan) and then complain about the lack of leg room in the back. If you want more leg room then why not go for the A6? Always puzzles me.
I think the new A4 looks good. I just wish they would push the front axle a bit more forward.
Overall, very nice though.

Just received an invite from my Audi dealer to test drive the new A4 in comparison with a BMW 3-series and MB C-class. They'll have several of these 3 cars there to drive.
I imagine all Audi owners received this invitation as well.

With all these pro-Audi comments and the fabulous designs of late, that S5 is looking better and better... Time for another Audi?
