Looks like an awesome car, but I'd personally have a very hard time writing a 300K check to Lexus for the LFA when that same check could get me into an F458, a Gallardo or the new McLaren...
At this level, it's not just about capability (if it were, we'd all be drooling over the Nissan GT-R), it's all about the intangibles - and this is one area where the Japanese cars will always struggle against the established European exotics.

Bottom line: $300K for a Lexus supercar is ridiculously overpriced. Lexus lacks the supercar cred to charge that kind of bank. If Lexus were smart, it would do with the LFA what it did so well with the LS 400 to develop market share: roll out the car at an affordable price (here under $150K or maybe even $125K), gain market share and brand image and then rachet up the price over time.
