My mother was in the market for a new car so went on a spree of seeing color model options etc.. etc.. She did drive my 525i just to get a base of what a 5 series offered in space and creature comforts, She drove the 745 and really like the acceleration and the endless goodies. She looked at the 550 that was on sale but it was a 6 speed, Then she found this GS450h hybrid car what a sleeper! 340hp on electric motors and 3.5l V6 and gets min 23mpg and has most everything except a Heads-up Display and night vision. She loved the car and got a fair deal on it. I did try to nudge her to the German side but didn?t quite do it.

So her fianc? has the new Tundra 5.7, she has the GS450h and my grandmother has a Corolla. I must be the black sheep LOL.

you are just a forward thinker LOL I owned 2 lexus in the past and still own a land cruiser and a corolla LOL if you are in the third world nothing else matters than Toyota's

 

My mother also has a Lexus GS and she doesn't like my car at all, in fact she wouldn't accept anything other than a Lexus. What can you do, mothers will be mothers

 

Car & Driver said the GS450h had quote "Lifeless steering". But I doubt your mom would push it hard enough to find that out. Lexus are made for the older generation, who need plushness vs sport.

What does it cost to maintenance a hybrid Lexus, since it doesn't have the 4yr free maintenance like the BMW?

Also the batteries have a 8 year 100K.

Year its electric steer AWD with a electric motor on rear wheels and then motor and electric on front. no steering pump or lines

Basic service like oil and brake should be cheap, not like ours. And ya moms will be moms
