My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT
not to impressed with the gs. the price blew me away.. 52,000 my god anyways still have to test drive the 530. my wife was all for the gs , and i was for the bmw, i hink she just changed her mind well next is the bmw. but im sure that this is the car for us. talk to you all later and thanks again for the info

i'm sure your wife will prefer E60..

My Ride: 05 530 Titanium Silver/Sexy black
As a owner of an E60 I can safely say that GS300 has more bang for buck. Styling is a personal preference however.
A 45k gs300 has more options and horsepower than a 45k 525i

I will buy a GS if is around $30K range, but for above $40k, is not worth it. The New GS still looks the same like the previous one, they mainly improve the interior design. Perhaps BMW need to improve their 3.0 engine now, it's feel kind of lack of power on the 530I.
