As freewilly my favorite color is the yellow, but I decided to go with the blue after much consideration. Black would be impressive, but I fear that with time the scratches would become somewhat bothersome. For the benefit of others that may travel this path in the future, I will attach some additional pictures.

I'd go red, yellow or that one blue above. You're on the porsche forums though, right? They could probably give you much better insight on options, tranny and such.

Yes I am . An outside, fresh perspective is always welcome. Additionally, I have gotten to "know" many of the posters here and appreciate their personalities and input.

You know, the Porsche forums I visit are torn in half with the transmission choice, because now the diehards lack something substantial... the auto is faster?! So, you will find those that defend to death either or. Color is less troublesome in my opinion. Just yesterday someone was asking again about the PDK, when will it be available. The latest speculation is that it will be within one year, introduced with the turbo cab, but who knows.

What beauts I was at a conference a few months ago and one of the lawyers was Porsche's top lawyer in the United States. She mentioned that she gets a new Porsche of her choosing every six months. I am definetely working for the wrong company

...actually, you should read the latest Motor Trend article on the 997 Turbo where the bigs from Porsche said that the new DSG variant is being delayed at least 2 more years as they are having major problems in testing the tranny due to the power output of the new engine...he goes on to speak on how great the auto is and that it is a better fit for the car than even the 6MT...

i love it how people already choose the colour of "their" turbo... somehow most forgot that it costs around 153000euro.

As much as your average household income for 3 years

dream on...

I have noticed in other forums that some black porsche owners want a speed yellow one for their next buy .
I wonder what percentage of Porsche owners are black?
