For instance a Mini Cooper S JCW w/ 210 bhp, SEVERAL wannabe Volvo T5:s and such alike (wouldn't want to race an R-Volvo though...).. The 535d eats almost everything out there

Not that I doubt it but how did you know the tune of the TT? It could of been 150hp, 180hp or 225hp? (Isn't there some like 'run-out' 240hp ones now too?)

2 exhaust pipes on the 225... And on the 250 hp you can see the difference on the grill for example

donv: Cayenne turbos are incredibly fast. I dont think the 545 can match it 0-60...although its almost the same....maybe after 80 it becomes slow. I havent tried it but I thought the cayennes run faster quarter miles when compared to the 545....

They don't do it faster than mine. I won to 60 by two lengths or so. Cayenne Turbo (CT) 1/4ths are fairly comparable to stock 545i 1/4ths per mag tests. See the stats below and the CT stats I posted above in post #3. The stats also show that the CTs don't get slow too fast in comparison to stock 545i's.

BMW 545i R&T 6/05 5.2 13.7 104.0
BMW 545i MT 8/04 5.4 13.7 102.1
BMW 545i MT 11/05 5.5 13.8 102.8

The lbs/HP ratio of the CT is about 11.5. I estimate my car's lbs/HPEquivalent ratio currently to be about 10.4. There also is a chance that the CT was modded as he was debadged in the rear. I could tell that it was a CT from the front. A stock 545i is about 11.7. The 550i is about 10.6. I am waiting on Dinan to get to, say, about 3,800 / 390 = 9.74--which is better than, for example:

Chrysler SRT-8 C&D 6/07 425 4212 9.9105 and
Mercedes AMG C55 R&T 11/04 362 3540 9.7790

Rolled even with what appeared to be a modded M3 (very fat tires) for a short distance. 2 in my car; 1 in his (good, but aggresive driver). New data posted in Post #3. New data also posted on Nissan Titan. ~{;^)
