I dunno where else to post this but I figure you guys can help me.
So my BMW is in the shop and I'm driving a loaner Audi. It's a 2001 A4. I have not had any problems within the last couple of days but now I cannot take my key out of the ignition... everything works, engine, radio, wheel has slack, the car's in park, etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Danks

Nevermind. I figured it out. The button on the shifter was stuck in. A little wiggling did the trick if anybody else ever has the same problem.

They gave you an Audi as a loaner. A 2001 A4. I'd demand a BMW loaner instead.
Glad you figured out the problem.
