My buddy recently picked up red 997S with 8,000miles for just about $70K. This car was optioned out for well over a $100K. This particular car sat on the lot for a couple months with an asking price in the mid 80s.

I don't want her to drive my E60 all the time. And also the roads here at San Francisco is horrible, i guess i made the right decision. The car is still fun to drive!

You should be able to get a 996 turbo for about $50k-60k, depending on its mileage. I test drove one when i was at the Tucson dealership, it's definitely much faster than my 997s. Don't trade your 5er in, buy the 996 turbo for a weekend car!
