Well for me the nearest place to find a Guards Red 997s with Tiptronic Transmission is at Tucson, AZ. California has only either black or grey. To be honest i get a fair deal for the car. I paid $69k plus tax and fees. MSRP of the car was $92k.
Sweet ride, and nice price.

My buddy recently picked up red 997S with 8,000miles for just about $70K. This car was optioned out for well over a $100K. This particular car sat on the lot for a couple months with an asking price in the mid 80s.

I don't want her to drive my E60 all the time. And also the roads here at San Francisco is horrible, i guess i made the right decision. The car is still fun to drive!

Beautiful car.

I'm so tempted to trade in my car for a Porsche. Now if I can find a turbo for under $50k....

Yeah my 1st mod for the car is clear side markers, i can't stand the orange side markers! It should be arriving by tomorrow. Planning to buy an aftermarket exhaust system in a next few months or so.

Thanks for the compliment.

You should be able to get a 996 turbo for about $50k-60k, depending on its mileage. I test drove one when i was at the Tucson dealership, it's definitely much faster than my 997s. Don't trade your 5er in, buy the 996 turbo for a weekend car!

How did you decide on the 997s over the 996 turbo? I would have taken the 997 too, but both great cars.
