So this weekend we picked up a low mile 2006 Porsche Cayenne from a dealer down in Miami. I'm currently trying to get a hold of the service history, but as of yet have had no luck.

What have you guys heard about the Cayenne's (problems, maintenance, things to look out for)?
Thanks in advance!

Drove a 06 Cayenne S back in 2007, having leak problem with the power steering wheel after a few week, return back right away. Maybe just my bad experience

my parents drive now an 06 porsche cayenne S titanium edition 07 production, no problems so far. I love that car, very smooth ride and lots of power and sportiness :) !

The biggest problem that I can tell from the pics is... you know it - someone swapped this Cayenne's rims for 13 inchers :D

Seriously, congrats on the new (to you) car! May it serve you long and well

I had one for 3 years only probs I had was lighting problems and something with the keys the dealer gave me new keys. Besides that the car handles like a sports car notice in your car theres no rollover warning. I miss the drive but not the look first mod should be some new wheels.

One more thing I like about the car only need to service it every 24000km thats what I like too. I was amazed when the service tech told me that because all my other european cars got serviced at 12000km.

thanks for the info everyone, and marc for the kind words!

I believe the car will arrive tomorrow (shipped it up to clearwater from miami) and if it does, I will be sure to snap some pics https://5series.net/forums/public/st...ault/twoup.gif
