Ok, if you are so sure, I won't stop you. Make sure to post pictures of the M. Just so you know, look what happened to me: Got a Porsche and still lurking here as underneath I am still a die hard BMW fan. (Debating between 550 and MB CLS for my wife.)
Good luck and make sure to test drive the Boxter too (Knowing it's a totally class of car, but as they say, you never know. ) because this is a lot of money and you don't want to hurry into anything. Aren't you single?

Well I have to admit I am a die hard manuel fan. But to be quiet honest I am a die hard horsepower/spped fan as well and the 525i since the day I had ordered, i had my doubts about the speed. As for the 530i I did test drive it in a six speed and it was much more impressive then the 525i I have to admit. But again the prices I quoted are accurate and even if I added a discount it still would be much higher.
Now as for all the gadgets well then I have to admit that the bmw looks like a civic on the inside compared to what the m45 offers.
Don't get me wrong I was drawn to the bmw before anything else so I am not bashing it in any way I just think that comparing these cars then the m45 wins. And again I was comteplating it for 3 days( i hardly had any sleep) but at the end of the day even though the bmw is a bmw it still doesnt come close to what the m45 sport has to offer. Now were talking about a 525i. If I were talking about a 550I or even a 545I then that would be a completely different story and I would have chosen the bmw for sure.
I guess bmw will be next on the line...? :-(?
I will probably be getting the m45 tommorrow so I will post some pics as soon as I can.
You guys have been great in my decision making, truly and I thank you all for your honest opinions.

I feel just like a kid. It's really quite stressful deciding between these 2 cars but at this point it's 99% sure i'm going for the m45.

Neither car - I know someone who has the m45, souless car - gets mistaken all the time for a g35 sedan, hard to tell the difference.
Go for a 330 at around the same price, there's no wait list by me in the bay area - they're just pumping them out - good looking car and much roomier inside than you would expect
