My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i Sport
Carbon Black Metallic/Cream Beige
Manny tranny and other stuff
Recently gone, but never forgotten:
2005 Ford Mustang GT (hence the name)
Torch Red/Crimson
Manny tranny and every option available for that year
2002 Chrysler 300M Special
Brilliant Black/Light Taupe/Dark Slate
Autostick and goo-gobs of neat features that I will sorely miss
The V's engine is already slightly too much for the chassis to handle, but engine and chassis are still reasonably matched (can't wait to see some V coupe numbers!) If they push the engine out to ZR1 levels, the chassis will be way overwhelmed unless they employ some serious bracing and massive tires. That, in turn, will significantly hurt ride comfort. Then we'll have to read reviews of complaints about the ride being too harsh. The next M5 "might" be champ again (if it can outdo the E63) until an all new V arrives. I have to say, I don't hold out much faith that the next M5 will be all that much better than the current one. They just keep getting fatter and fatter.

My Ride: 2005 545i /w Sport pkg - SMG - Nav - Premium pkg - PDC - Ready to begin my modding! =)
Its funny how everyone here in this thread is comparing the CTS-V (entry level Caddy body frame) to the M5 (mid level bimmer frame), that should speak volumes on how well GM got this car dialed in! I would love to have a CTS-V, great styling, great performance, and a better designed cabin. To the OP, go test drive it and if you like it, go for it!
