Yep, I'm reading. I just have to wait for my day in court. At least I am LOVING LOVING LOVING my new Range Rover. I couldn't be happier with it. I gave the BMW back to my husband and have only been back in it once. And he keeps having problems with it and driving me nuts about getting appointment (like it's that easy!! )

I've been here, reading, but just not posting. There's not a whole lot to contribute when you're not even driving the car any more.

LOL. Do you think that was a good choice?

If heard so many stories of grief with anything from Land Rover, I'd rather buy a Jaguar.

I think Im going to get black/black and slave to keep it clean

I'm getting Carbon Black because it's very dark, but not quite black. In the sun there's a great blue metallic shine to it. More exciting than simply black, IMHO.

Oh for pete's sake! I defended my choice enough already. And in my one month of ownership of the Range Rover I've had zero problems. In my first month -- no, actually in my first 6 days -- of ownership of the BMW? I already had 3 or 4 big issues and more than a handful of minor ones.

I'm not familiar with your story, so please excuse me for that.

I know someone who is a Range Rover fan. Has owned about 7. And despite the stories of grief, from every one of them, he still buys them.

Latest one is new. In the first month it still runs, but the PDC works "when it wants to", so you can't trust it to warn you when parking.

Good luck with yours.

I'm from Britian, and I don't see the Jaguar as a British car.? It is now basically a ford, along with the x-type.? They just take things from the mondeo's etc.? The Jaguar isn't a very good car, its basically a ford in my eyes, thats why you can get such a good deal on them.? The BMW is miles in front.

The new aluminum Jaguar XJ is all Jaguar. The new XJ's aluminum chassis is 40 % lighter and 60 % stiffer than if it were steel. The 2005 Jaguar Super V8, the long wheel base, flagship XJ, weighs around 4,000 pounds. It is shown below.
