450hp out of 3.8 liters... Nice! It's amazing how Porsche has continued to stepp up their game of late - the new Turbo with PDK puts the GT-R firmly back in its place, the new GT3 is getting absolutely stellar reviews right now and the GT3 RS kicks it up another notch.

The wing is really due to the car's primary function, it's really built for the track and it's about as close as you get to a real track car which could arguably double as a street car. The graphics are traditional, they've always had them on the RS (and these definitely turn them up to 11!) although I think the graphics can be deleted. Main benefit of the RS over the "standard" GT3 is weight reduction - the car is stripped, and a lot of $$$ goes in to "adding lightness".

What a beautiful car. And it is insane to squeeze 450 bhp out of an NA engine of that modest size.

that's right - I'd love a GT3 RS, but I don't have the luxury of dropping anything remotely close to that kind of coin on anything other than my main car. I'm definitely interested in the Panamera - although the new 2010 911 Turbo is catching my eye right now too. As is the GT3.... And the M5... And the Quattroporte... Well - you get the jist. So many cars - and nowhere near enough money!
