Only way you'll get an 06 for 85K is if it's very high mileage (and this is of course, relative), it's trashed (and again, this is relative) or there's a story...

Either way - the 06 benefited from some significant upgrades, particularly to the E-Gear (assuming the car is E-Gear and not the much rarer manual) and is probably a very good buy if it checks out - but at 85K there just has to be a story.

As for some of the posts above - they're smoking something. The vast majority of Gallardo buyers aren't twenty somethings...

Bottom line - it's a phenomenal car - but ONLY if the car checks out and the price is right.

There are a bunch of Lambo owners who post on 6Speedonline and generally speaking they view their cars as close to bulletproof as you get in the class. Not cheap to fix, not cheap to maintain, but the Gallardo generally seems to need less of both than its peers.

I volunteer at a local hospital here, and at the library.

Just the other day I was volunteering at the library and they told me to go weed the grounds, and water the library's garden, (The grounds where the library is), so I went to get a drink from my car and some hoe I know from school comes up to me and says "Stop stealing stuff from cars you mexican".

First off I am indian, and second of all its my car .

Most teenage kids don't have any respect at all, her mom was watching the whole thing, and she attended summer school for 3 classes which she failed, plus her mom drives a ford (Not saying anything, but look at yourself before you say stuff).

Do you have any mods done to your car?
I just payed for an RPI scoop but other than tinted windows thats it. I have my ideas layed out... all I need now is a job! I plan on getting the full m-tech kit or something similar. Upgrading to quad exhaust (rpi hopefully) Smoking the tailights (Probably the next job) And the finale will be powder coated 166's (m5 wheels). Then my car will be complete. I may have to paint my calipers and get a black grill but those are maybe's. How about you? Put some pics up in your signature and your location and such!

And sorry everyone for ruining my own thread...

I believe it has the e-gear (I have no idea about lambo's) It didnt have a gear box so unless it's so high tech it dissapears, I'm guessing it's an e-gear. The car has low miles in the teens or less I'd imagine. He brings is car to the office maybe once a week? And from the looks of his parking job (in between 2 spaces making it impossible for someone to ding his door) it looks as if he's cared for his car. He told my dad it has had no problems... He's indian so and seems pretty laid back and conservative so I dont think he's the type to ruin a beautiful car. Just needs some cash (guess his dunkin donuts chain isn't doing to well...) 85k sounds like a great price for this car which probably could be priced 140-15 +

I'd get the Lambo... that deal is too good to pass up on. If anything, you can probably sell it for a lot more in the future when the economy is at a high then you can buy 2 used M5's
hahahahahhahaha

my uncle has a gallardo, if you are over 5'10" that car is bad news. i have been in it once, it was more uncomfortable then a bicycle with no seat on the seat post. he barely drives it because it is incredibly loud inside, uncomfortable, people follow him, etc. i am 26 and 30 minutes in that thing and my back was killing me.
