WARNING!!!!!!! Forum member 2004530i is a LIAR AND A CHEATER. He was selling Antrazite trim pieces which had links to pics and conviniently the super closeup shot of the pieces was of the ONLY one that was NOT defective. In my first email I clearly asked him if the pieces were in MINT condition. He said yes MINT CONDITION. We agreed on a price of 400.00 and i sent a certified bank check. When I received the pieces they were ALL SCUFFED and HEAVLY SCRATCHED. I packaged them up and wrote him an email saying I was unhappy and i wanted a refund. He is REFUSING to come to ANY type of an agreement. My next step will be SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I will lose time and money but I will not let him take my money without a fight. Just wanted to share the warning with all of you about his unethical dealings for future references.

I don't see why the original thread regarding this matter had to be deleted.
Couldn't it have just been moved here?

Guys

I am the one who sold this guy the wood trim pieces. As I told him before, they were taken off the original car that I bought. They are in mint condition as I see it, but NOT new of course. When you take the trim pieces off a car, I don't expect them to look like it was taken straight out of the box from bmw. I even put up post of close shot pictures...and did not only take a picture of the one he claims that was good. I tried my best to share photos of the pieces and describe to the best of my abilities the details. I even spent HOURS packing them in extra bubble wrap and celephane with extra box slats so the box wouldn't not get crushed and sent it priority mail.

I am NOT the kind of person to CHEAT someone especially for a complete set of OEM bmw wood trim pieces for a mere $400 INLCUDING SHIPPING!!! This is ridiculous. I told him a fair deal is a fair deal and he's threatening me to court based on his ANAL scrutiny of the wood. I would definitely have not sold them or even returned them had I thought they were in horrible condition. Again, sorry you guys have to be in the middle of this. I will go to court if he deems necessary but I know that this deal is in no way a "cheat" deal.

So why not refund him and be a nice guy about it?

Sorry but I think most people would agree that "mint" means as good as new; no flaws, no scratches, no imperfections.

I agree with xexyus just refund the money.. why waste time at court ... IMHO I would take Mint as almost perfect too, maybe with a few minor scratches.. So hopefully you guys could settle this outside of court and lets become a big happy E60.net family again :D

Ive made several attempts to resolve this in a friendly matter..even willing to accept less and yet he's persistant that scuffed and scratched like they came out of a 20 year old car is fare and will not budge. I dont want to waste my time in court but I will if necesary. You picked the wrong guy to screw with. I guess you wanted share the feeling of getting screwed since you too were screwed not long ago by an online company for some $80 fog lights you cried about.
