I own a E90 335xi and I decided to purchase two bumpers from them. From and rear M-Tech.
Both bumpers come pre primered so my painter DID NOT spray any primer down. Instead he prepped the bumper for paint. He mostly does insurance claims so the bumpers he deals with are OEM pre primered. So this isn't anything new to him.
The rear turned out fine. However the front bumper started peeling. The paint stuck to the primer, but the primer started to peel off of the bumper. Nothing the painter did. Just a shitty primer job.
I contacted Umnitza and was told that it was my painter who did the paint job wrong. Which doesn't make sense..
Here is a image of the paint peeling first. This was less than 24 hours after being painted.
Here is a image of what compressed air did to the primer.
As you can see, the paint is sticking to the primer. So the painter did his job. The primer is just coming off the bumper like it is nothing.
