I ordered a kit from Greg AKA Detto and received it and now is on my car. There were definatly issues with receiving the kit in time promised, but I did end up receiving it with everything required to assemble. One thing I should mention is that probably a vendor screening process should be put in place before any transactions take place on this board. Vendors should pay an application fee, provide business references, and terms of sale. In addtion, they should provide all information necessary such as: Business Name, Adddress, City, State, Phone Number, etc. There is just too much money exchanging hands here to not have something like this in place.

For reference below you will find a link to On Broadway, Inc. which is the company that appears to be associated with Detto's paypal account.

Thanks MK. I'd really like to see the vendor, himself, provide this information for all of our members to see.

I had this place fix a fuel pump in my car. $450.00. Two weeks later the fuel pump went out again. He says it's an electrical problem.‎

I would like to add to the fact that the workmanship was very good with the kit and packaging. And although the kit was delayed from originally promised date everything did turn excellent. I know a few of you guys have had issues with shipping etc, but in any business the kinks need to be ironed out.

I know a lot have lost trust here because of one vendor, but that does not mean that this vendor will be the same way. The unfortunate fact in any transaction where the "individual is not present" there is a significant inherit risk present, and some are going to end up fine and some not so. I say this, if there are a few issues here and there, then "nature of the business." However if there are many issues as with anything, that's when you need to raise question.

Keeping this in mind, I would still recommend Detto as a vendor here.

Figured, I would also post a link to my album of the kit installed:

hey everyone, I'm going to start off by saying that I am a customer of Greg aka detto. So far there are many things going on to which I dont want to jump into any conclusions and hurt his business. I will say I have a claim open with paypal but if everything goes well I will close it, but I can't tell yet. I just got off the phone with him, ( he is hard to get a hold of) but he told me he is having problems with his shipper. I have been waiting 6 weeks by the way. But I hope everything is worth it. :/ I'll keep you all posted...

It now seems that even with those good news the bad service continues.

People are waiting and don't get any feedback...
