Bigfoot,

did you get anyone else to check the rims? Are you sure that the guys who said they were bent are being totally honest with you? I'm not saying that they are not damaged its just that they seem really bad.

I'd definatly gt a second opinion if you havent.

Also, i would shop around for the cost of correcting these - as they are nice rims (and they definately are IMHO) it might pay to have them corrected yourself at a cheaper rate ESPECIALLY if they aren't as bad as you have been 'informed'.

I hope that you both come to a reasonable conclusion.

No this problem has not been resolved. SilverRush hasn't replied to any of my messages for the past day or so.

This is a freaking soap opera. I'd be talking to a lawyer after the initial reply. That usually forces someones hand one way or the other.

Unless one of them is a lawyer, this deal isn't worth hiring one. You'd be lucky if you got away with paying a lawyer only $2000 which is how much the wheels are worth. Maybe take it to small claims court, but I still think your best bet is reaching a "happy" medium. I still wanna see pics of the damaged wheels though.

any one paying 800 to fix 3 bent wheels, no mater how bad, i geting riped off!! i had 2 badly bent renntech monolights ( my fault didnt see the bord in the road) fixed for 247.55 ya i have the invoice handy. and now i would never know they where ever bent. i wached as they spun them up on the balancer and one took 1/4 ouce and the uther took 1/2 ouce, and thats good, solution??? find a beter wheel shop and have the seller pay you 3-4 hundred, for the repair, if he dosnt pay let it go, you would spend that in shipping them back and and for the seller its a good deal to spend 3-4 bones to save your reputation, come on the wheels were most likely bent when sent!

Lawyer? Are you a lawyer? That's adding fuel to the fire. Lawyer equals liars and instigators. I do give credit to a few "ethical" ones.

I'm glad Bigfoot posted this. It just goes to show how careful you have to be buying stuff online. I'm so nervious after some of the experiences of buying stuff on eBay and getting jerked around and ripped off that I rarely buy anything from an unknown vendor unless they have a 99.9% rating or above and 3000+ sales. If I were you Bigfoot I would place a fraud complaint with my credit card, ship the rims back and sue in small claims court for the shipping. End of story.
