xda II with 530
Has anyone had any luck connecting a xdaII with the BT? I have added / deleted the device in the car and on the phone many times. When i use the "discover" device on the phone the car asks me if i want to connect. I select yes and enter the pin 12345 then the car displays my name, but when i go to the communication in the idrive it says to activate phone. What am i doing wrong? Is there hope for the xdaII and my 530? (2006 2 day old 530)

[/quote]yes i have all the software upgrades for my xdaII (not xdaIIs) still nothing.
My information and own experience is: no way.
I have a mda II by my own and there was no possibility for connecting. I paired it and the call get?s to the mda but after 2 ringings the connection breaks.
The handsfree-profile is missing.
You?d have to assign another bt-profile to the x/m/v da II. In my oppinion the bt-device is not designed for that.
The mda compact should work.

I've just taken delivery of my 535d M Sport and have an XDAII with ROm 1.72.181 loaded. I can pair the phone but when I go to use it it shows the same message as the first post (Activate Phone). Did anyone get to the bottom of this issue? If I need any updates can someone send me the link?
I have an O2 Atom and it connects to the car beautifully everytime. I can make and receive calls, see the complete phone book, have the Top 8 function.........just all the function we can get on the E60 bluetooth interface.
I used a SE P910i before and I can only make and receive calls, but no phonebook or the Top8 function.
