i currently drive a 530i petrol m sport 2005 model
my old phone paired up to the car no prob worked a treat ive just changed phone to a nokia n73 now it pairs ok so car sees it and paskeys ok but it will not pick it up after so i cant use it at all!! any ideas??
also the voice control system has never worked i asked my dealer to check it when it was in for service and the SERVICE ADVISOR said all was ok but no matter what i do it will not work a i missing something??
any help/ideas appreciated

 

Ja, easy. You would need to be using a compatible mobile phone, then everything should work.

Since the old mobile worked, that?s definitely the problem.

 

Re voice command, do you mean just for the phone or the speech-to-text system that comes with the CCC.

 

no i press button on steering wheel (little mans face with speech ) and nothing works at all!!

ther is a seperate button for phone that works on phone but not speech but it seems as if speech system is not connected?

 

the nokia n series phones do not work well at all in the e60. there have been many post concerning this problem.
