Just wanted to give a quick review of this. I have an 09 535 with the CCC idrive. Like most of you, I have bluetooth calling but not music. I have the standard ipod interface and an iphone 5s. I have used other bluetooth products that do play, but with low quality. It also did not provide steering wheel controls or show anything on the screen. Here is the first one I bought-


I bit the bullet and bought the tune2air from amazon knowing i could return it if it didn't work. Well, it works just as if you plugged your iphone in. Exactly the same. Screen and wheel controls are active. Sound is 90% of plugged in quality.

It is expensive but it works very well. Bluetooth calling is retained through the car. The only thing I noticed doesn't work like it used to is that Siri used to come through the car's bluetooth but now goes through Tune2air. I have to see if i can force siri to the car bluetooth, but other than that, I highly recommend it.
