Expect to see a lot of hocus pocus on this subject matter, since Verizon is being sued for the lack of Bluetooth functionality in their V710 phone.

This is theoretical stuff, that the firmware on the phones can easily deal with. Verizon keeps claiming that Bluetooth causes "security leaks" but what they mean is revenue leaks, because Bluetooth prevents VZW from collecting a fee for transferring files over it's network.
