Hi

First posting so hope I am clear.
Bought a new 520D SE in Sept 07 stupidly did not specify bluetooth.
Does anyone know if I need new module, microphone etc fitted or is the car already wired.
Has anyone had a retrofit in the UK.

I had a 520d delivered in September 07. Like you, I failed to specifiy bluetooth. Last week I got a quote from my supplying dealer for a retrofit bluetooth and charging cradle.

They asked me to give them ?1,800.

Obviously, I'm not going to give them any sort of encouragement on that, so I'll have to fit a universal bluetooth system, which I think can at least use the car's audio system and mute the radio\CD when a call comes in. Don't know any details on that yet, as my company's IT department sorts all that out.
We used to fit cradles but we've taken the view that they encourage fiddling around while driving, so that's out now.
