A few weeks ago on my 2007 525i, I had a SOS Malfunction which knocked out the use of my Bluetooth in the car. So every time I turned the Bluetooth on my Iphone 5 and 5s, the SOS Malfunction would go on. Eventually the SOS Malfunction went away, but the Bluetooth just stop working in the car. Asked a few people what it can be and I kept hearing that I might have to take it to the dealership to get the TCU Replaced. Of course $$$$ ran through my head again! I tried disconnecting the battery, but didn't work. After doing some research I read that someone rebooted the IDRIVE by holding down the Eject button of the CD and the Mute button on the Stereo (make sure car is turned off first but just the IDRIVE is on). I deleted all the phone profiles on the IDRIVE and repaired the phones and it worked! ![Clap](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/clap.gif)
I was one day away from spending the money to get it checked out! Research works!
