I just had the IPOD update installed on my 530i. Its loads better than the ipod for the x5.
The only problem is that I cannot activate the bluetooth. Guess its going back to the dealer.
Has anyone else heard of this issue?

If you look at some of the recent ipod and / or software upgrade topics in some of the other e60.net forums you will find we had a "little" problem with a recent PROGMAN (CIP) upgrade. It is bad and BMW is saying they should have a quick fix and indeed it MAY be at dealers now. But my recommendation is to let teh dust settle a little and be sure it really is in dealer hands and does fix the issues at hand and not introduce others. It has come up most often related to iPod. If you do a search on "ipod" you will find many recent post on the software issues topic. Your upgrade timing was not so good
