I just had the above adapter installed. Anyone know what the speaker symbol above the adapter does when pressed?
Also is there english instructions for the adapter? They gave me German instructions only

It will let you slide out the adapter should you ever get a different phone.
The V3 adapters are now available at US dealers. It's been available in Germany for a few months now.

It is also used for the transfer the call from the car to the phone on leaving the car
