Aside from all the new features (camera, bluetooth, etc.)how does the Verizon V710(in difficult to receive areas) compare to the Verizon V60. My V60 works so,so in my 545ia, except those I call say I sound garbled and have an echo. Is the V710 any better?
More important, I use my phone much more outside of the car, and I find the V60 has limited range. In buildings, at home or in work. the signal is very weak, and I almost always drop calls in these areas. It's not the individual phone, it's the V60 model that seems inferior(this is my second one). All my various Verizon phones worked well in the same locations. Does the V710 get a stronger signal in tough areas? To me SIGNAL is what it's all about. That alone is why I would switch to the V710 with bluetooth.

v710 has the best RF signal available today. I had dead spots on a commute through a rural area that disappeared with the v710

Which providers are you guys using, and where do you normally keep the phone?

Also, does anyone know if there is a car antenna for the cell phone when you have a BT phone active?

I would imagine that the antenna of the phone itself must be used.

I have Verizon with the V60. (I keep phone in the cradle, which connects to the outside antenna, which should give a stronger signal and keeps the RF waves outside the car.

I see on the board, there is now a cradle for the BT V710 as well, but don't know if it is working well by what I read on this forum.

Still would appreciate answer on how well phone works when not used in car. Does it get a stronger signal then the V60?
