I have been searching for a decent Pocket PC Phone that works with my BMW 525d. Here are my experinces.

Eten M500 (Windows Mobile 2003 SE):
Does not pair with the BMW.
Does pait with a Parrot CK3100

Eten M600 (Windows Mobile 5.0):
Does pair with the BMW and transfers phonebook initially.
However after the first call the Bluetooth connection is broken.
Only after resetting does it work again.
You can however continue to make phone calls from the M600 but that does mean dialing from the M600 which is not very comfortable when driving.
Also in general the Bluetooth connection is very unstable and voice quality is not very good.

The voice and phone quality of the M500 and M600 is below that of the Qtek's. I have been abroad several times and the Eten's could not find a network along with dropped calls, hangups when receiving phonecalls etc. If you need a reliable phone, do not choose an Eten!

Qtek 9100 (Windows Mobile 5.0):
Does pair with the BMW and transfers phonebook.
As far as I can tell the Bluetooth connection stays on.
Voice quality is good.

Qtek 9000 (Windows Mobile 5.0):
Does pair with the BMW but no phonebook transfer.
That means dialing from the Qtek 9000 in the car. Not very handy.
Voice quality is good.

In general keep in mind that the BMW Bluetooth has a limited phonebook memory, I haven't been able to figure out how many contacts it can hold. That means that if you a lot of contacts in your Pocket PC (like I do) you will never know which ones will be transferred and which not. Not very handy if you want to call a particular person which is not in the BMW memory.
The Parrot CK3100 has the same limitation, it can hold 1000 telephone number or 1000 contacts with multiple numbers depending on the phone you have.

Since I have about 1500 contacts I have for now settled on the combination of a Qtek 9000 with a Sony Ericsson K750i. As soon as I step into the car I switch off the Qtek phone and switch on the K750i. Bluetooth connection between the BMW and K750i is flawless and stable. It shows the contacts with all their numbers distinguished by (M), (W), (H) etc.
I synchronize my Qtek 9000 with Outlook with ActiveSync and synchronize Outlook with the K750i with a program called Mobile Master. The latter lets me choose which contacts to synchronize. I have marked the numbers which I want in my K750i with a special category 'GSM Sync'. Mobile Master lets you synchronize only this category (or particular folder, whatever you choose). As a bonus the K750i has a pretty good camera as well, much better than the one in the Qtek 9000. If only BMW would come out with a K750i cradle, than it would be perfect.
Before I decided on the K750i I thought about the Motrola V3 Razr but this has a lot less structured phonebook so I decided against it. Also the camera is a lot less than the K750i.
