Is there a way for me to play my music through the system? I have a the droid x. My phone works fine as far as blue tooth. Just don't know how to make the system play the music if it does that at all.

I've wondered this myself. I have '08 5-series and a Droid Razr and have also wondered if a Bluetooths devise can transmit music rather than using the Aux Jack.

I found this video and seems maybe only on newer BMW's '10 and up.

Nope 08 didn't support blue tooth audio. Get a blackberry audio gateway off amazon and tie it into the aux jack cable, and best mod I ever did. Only costs about 35$

You can get a A2DP supported bluetooth adapter and plug it into the aux-in (and charge via USB or power port). Then you can play music over bluetooth. Amazon has a few for under $50.
