I've had numerous complaints from people who can't hear what I'm saying on my car phone. They say there is a tremendous echo, and they can't understand me. I've heard this from quite a few people. I've checked the reception, and its fine, and I can hear the caller very well.
I've got the original BMW phone. I figure I'll take it into the dealer, but people on this board seem to know more than the dealer most of the time. Anyone else having this problem? Or better, anyone have a solution? |
I had the eject box installed this past weekend and my CPT9000 so far is working great!!! I have service with AT&T, made a few calls and no complaints, I even made international calls and I could hear them perfectly and no complaints from the other side either.

Same problem here...
The problem appears to be caused by the mic picking up the caller's own voice which comes out of the stereo...hence an "echo." The only thing that seems to minimize the problem is turning the volume lower on the stereo. If the dealer has a fix, please let me know so I can fix what is a very annoying problem on an expensive and pretty bad phone. |
