PHONE DISPLAY does not show SMS arrived! HELP ANYONE?

Hello,
When i recieved an sms i saw the little sms icon on the communications menu of IDRIVE. Maybe i touched something, but now when i recieve an sms it does not show on the display. I have to go into SMS menu to see if anything came. Anyone have a clue.....

If you receive an SMS now and go to the SMS screen, do you see the message? I thought the SMS feature didn't work with BT phones, only the CPT9000 wired phone.
In the US at least, I'm pretty sure that the little icon you are looking for only shows up for missed calls, not SMS messages...

ACtually its not... found solution... once the RECENT CALLS RECEIVED LIST IS CLEARED.. my sms little symbol returns...
please look below... PROBLEM SOLVED now.

Some phones, particularly some Nokia phones, don't show the signal strength indicator even though they pair and function fine...
