If I'm going to invest in a new phone, and I already have a Motorola V60 cradle installed, is there a snap in adaptor I can use with the existing set up, so I don't have to start from scratch? I'd like to be able to take advantage of the charging feature and signal boost of the cradle.

The service manager at my dealer seems to think I can simply "snap in" the adapter and get going that way. It sounds like a trap...

Plus, I could use some advice on what phones, preferably Cingular, are available now and have a cradle/adapter available.

Thanks in advance for all your good advice.

Beware the RAZOR, it uses a mini-USB for power...

I like my V600, and the phone book profile seems to work just fine. The power it uses is the same as any other normal Mot phone.

My Motorola V551 works great, there is a cradle available if you want it, and it is a GSM phone to use when you go to the fatherland to pick up your next BMW on european delivery.

As far as I know the Eject Box portion of the set up for Bluetooth cradle phones and the V60 fpr the CPT9000 are different. I am not sure, however, if the trim pieces and support bracket (frame) u already have might be good or not.

This should be your current version eject box - 84 11 6 946 537
What you need is a 84 21 6 946 075 to adapt to a snap in adapter (cradle).

The 84 21 0 307 726 cradle fits all Motorola v6xx and v5xx series phones.
