Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a Nokia E72. I know there is no snap in cradle for this model yet but does anyone have experience if this phone works well with the connectivity in the BMW - control functions via the steering wheel, transfer of contacts list, voice control etc.

Hi,
I connected my E72 to my new 520i a month ago - no problems what so ever, all BMW steering wheel features work and the contact list synchonizes with every Bluetooth connection - hope the cradle becomes available soon...

Thanks for Posting a reply. That settled I'll go pick up my E72.

Be careful - pre-LCI and LCI is rather important with these things. You never mentioned what years are your cars.
I have had a terrible experience with Nokia E51 on a pre-LCI car. Bad connectivity, no phone book transfer, increased phone battery discharge, no caller name transfer, you name it... I got rid of the phone.
