i tried searching e60.net for my answers. but the answers i got on previous threads are unclear.

I just need to know if the 2004 545i comes with bluetooth technology. Cuz i know its comes on the 2005s. please help. im planning to buy a brand new 2004 545i within a couple of days for a good price. i was just curious.

or at least let me know what the differences are between the 04s and 05s. help is much appreciated. thanks.

Look on the drivers side door frame for the build date, if it is after March 2004, you can get bluetooth. Car may require a software update to activate the BT though. Make sure that the update, if needed is done by the dealer at their cost, before you sign.

Ok!!!!I just got my brand new 545i (2004) today. I even flew from LA to Oakland CA to buy it. I got it for $58,681 out the door. I think I got a good deal. The cars MSPR was 59,???. Well, I is.....a 2004. but its brand new, 72 miles on it. I just hope its not dogged miles

Tiatanium Gray / Black leather, sport package, 6sp man, xenons, satellite prep. We'll at least I got the sport package . hehe.

Congratulations and Welcome!!!! What was the auto's build date (on driver's door 'jamb' as previously mentioned? Did they install BT for you? What about any repair history? The dealer can/should provide this.

Wow! Good job. What did Edmunds.com say you should have paid, with options? I just checked... By the way, the '04 545i came with Xenons, standard. I also couldn't find the sat prep option on Edmunds. Also, is it 'certified'? I'm not sure if your dealer was selling it new or used. Anyway, dealer retail is supposedly $53,118 and certified, if used, was/is $57,469. Sounds like you did a great job. Congrats, again!

I bought the car as Brand new. I bought it for 53,777, a little bit below invoice price. $58,681 w/tax license + maintainance upgrade for 1,499, so total of 60,180 OTD. So it had just the factory warranty 4/50,000. it was an 04 leftover. But i bought the extented 6/100,000 maintainance upgrade for 1,499. The factory maintainance deal was also 4/50,000. I figured 1,499 was a good deal. All the oil changes, 60,000 mile service and the 90,000 service and all that brakes.

BRAND NEW 545I TITANIUM GRAY, 6SP MAN, BLACK LEATHER, SPORT PACKAGE, XENONS, ANTHRACITE MAPLE, SATELLITE PREP. I was really glad it came with garage door opener stock. I thought you needed a PREMIUM PACKAGE for that.
