Oddly enough, I had a friend with an N80 in my car last week...I tried again, but still, it did not work.
Sorry...
Sorry...
Almost all Nokia paired and make/receive calls but NO ONE was able to transfer address book .
My experience was on: N73, N80, N95, E61
Excellent experience with almost all Motorola and Samsung phones: V3, V3i, V3xx, Z3, K1, SGH-Z710, SGH-X820.
HTC P3600 too pairs and works very fine.

Digging up an old thread ... since my BB Pearl failed me,
I'm rocking the Nokia N90 classic.
I've been able to pair my N90 with my BMW from my
phone, but the antenna signal doesn't display on I-Drive,
nor can I make calls through the car.
When I tried pairing from the BMW to my phone, it
can't find the N90 even if my phone's Bluetooth is on.
Has anyone had any luck in pairing any of the Nokia Nseries phones?

Since different markets have different TCUs, which market does your comment apply to?
i ended up switching phones to Blackberry 8800, and all is fine now.

please please tell me you are wrong. I've got a 530d M sport. Reg Sept 06 with the latest firmware CIP 23.x (I think). Before we bought two of these cars we testdrove it and verifed that N80 phones paired and we even made calls during our test drive. Then went ahead and bought them (one 530d M Sport, one 535d M Sport). During this time, the N80's (which were also new) were upgraded to run Mail for Exchange (a prog to permit linking to an Exchange mail server), then the cars arrived and nothing worked.
So I and my other director now have highly spec'd executive cars with no pphones. We've bought lots of phones that meet our need (email linking to Exchange Mail servers) and tried them; We even recently bought the E61, E60 and E50; they pair, but that is it....
What you are saying matches exactly what we've found.
Please please please tell me you figured out a solution.

Hi Dave,
BMW never fixed the issue. Mini users have the same issue since the Bluetooth and the nav unit on the Mini is the same as BMW E60/61. i switched to Blackberry 8800, and now a BlackBerry Bold, and Iphone and they work fine. the Nokia however does not work with the E60/E61 USA/ Japan/ and Mid East models. German model do support the Nokia phone but this also menas you have to learn German as the car's languge is in German.
Regards
Saeed
